It’s a procedure that consists in inserting a thin catheter through the vein to the varicose veins, where a substance that decreases the varicose veins and increases the force of the veins walls.
Its goal is to partially interrupt the prostate’s blood circulation, allowing the relief of the lower urinary tract symptomatology associated with BPH, as well as the reduction of the prostate size.
The embolization is performed on the uterus, that is to say, the obstruction of arteries that nourish the fibroids. In this treatment, the success rate in treating complaints is over 90%.
This embolization allows to treat symptoms (pain and increase or heaviness on the testicle) and improve the spermatozoa function by occluding all the dilated veins near the testicle.
